基於 Ubuntu 的發行版 Linux Lite 發布 3.8 版

Linux Lite 是一個基於 Ubuntu 的發行版，旨在讓 Windows 用戶接近 Linux ，其特色是輕量級的 Xfce 桌面。

Linux Lite 起始於 2013 年，在當時發布了基於 Ubuntu 的 Linux Lite 1.0.0 ，並以「 Amethyst 」作為其 codename 。它最初的開發和設計是為了吸引 Windows 用戶使用基於 Linux 的操作系統，以消除 Linux 很難使用的不正確觀念。

Linux Lite 的目標是通過提供 Windows 計算機可用的同樣軟體的方式，給 Windows 用戶帶來熟悉感。其包含 Firefox 、 Mozilla Thunderbird 、 VLC Media Player 、 GIMP 及 LibreOffice 等軟體，也另外提供 Chromium 、 Dropbox 、 Kodi 、 Skype 、 Spotify 、 Steam 、 TeamViewer 、 Tor 及 VirtualBox 等常見軟體。
